Performance Test

A performance test should be as specific as possible. A cyclist better performs a cycling test on his own bike, while a runner should perform the test while running on a treadmill or preferably on a track.

Cycling Test

The cycling test is performed on your own bike, mounted on an ergometer.
During the test, the runners starts with a basic load that is maintained for 8 minutes and this load is increasing every 8 minutes. At every step, blood samples are taken from the finger to measure lactate concentration and heart rate is monitored.
All data is analysed and provided to the report in an extensive report that is shared with the athlete.
 
Upon request, a field test can be organized.

Running Test

The running test is a real field test, performed on a running track. The test is performed by running a fixed distance (minimum 1200m, maximum 2000m) where every fraction is done with a slightly higher pace. After every fraction, blood samples are taken from the finger to measure lactate concentration and heart rate is monitored.
The last fraction is at maximum pace to test your anaerobic capacity.

We can perform this test at your location. A travel cost of 0,35€ per kilometer should be taken into account if travel distance is higher then 20 km.
